Questions managers ask
Is the listing free?
Yes. Every CQC-registered home care agency in England has a page on Home Care Prices and claiming it costs nothing. Your coverage area, services, rates, photos and description are all included.
How do you check that I run the agency?
If your email address is the one your agency publishes, or is on the same domain as your website, the listing is yours straight away. Otherwise we ring the office on its CQC-registered number and ask for you.
Can a franchise or group claim all its branches?
Yes. Anyone with an email address on the brand’s website domain can claim every branch under that brand in one go, and each branch keeps its own rates and coverage.
Where does the coverage area on my page come from?
From your own website where it says which areas you cover. Where it does not, we show an estimated radius around your office and say so. Claim the listing to set the postcode districts you actually cover; a family searching one of them then sees you first.
What does a featured listing cost?
Fifty pounds a month plus VAT, paid by card, with no minimum term. Cancel any time from your account and the listing stays featured until the end of the month you have paid for.
Why should I publish my rates?
Families searching for home care ask about price first. Agencies with a published rate get more enquiries, and better ones: people who already know the rate is within reach. We show your weekday hourly rate, weekend rate and live-in rate with the date you gave them.
Prefer email? Send your rates, coverage or photos to rates@homecareprices.co.uk and we will add them. If a review of your agency is untrue or breaks our rules, reply to the same address with the link and we will look into it within two working days.
